Potential Incriminating Roger Clemens Photos In Hands of the IRS

steroids-in-baseball.jpgRumor has it that two photos are in the hands of IRS agent Jeff Novitzy tying Roger Clemens to the 1998 Jose Canseco’s party that Clemens is alleged to have attended.

It is unknown at this point is whether or not the photographs of these baseball players are date and time stamped. Special Agent Novitzy is interested in speaking with Canseco regarding the photos. It is reported that an eleven-year old boy had separate pics taken of himself with the two Major League Baseball players at different times during the party.

The Daily News was the first to break the story of the alleged photographs back in February by the star baseball pitcher’s former trainer Brian McNamee’s attorney Richard Emery.

If the IRS special investigator does indeed have the photographs in his possession, it has the potential of becoming the lid that seals Clemens’ coffin in the BALCO (Bay Area Laboratory Co Op) steroids scandal. Clemens’ previously denied under oath that he attended his former Blue Jay’s teammates party and indulged in the use of the performance enhancers. Please see my previous post Roger Clemens Faces Potential Perjury Charges.

Jose Canseco has on file with Congress a sworn statement substantiating Roger Clemens denial of attending the now scandalous party and the MLB steriods scandal. Whether or not you feel this issue should be on the tip of everyone’s tongue’s, it surely is going to prove interesting.
